This position is responsible for setup/tear down, operation and troubleshooting of Plastic Extrusion Machines.
Job duties include:
• Prepare extrusion equipment, etc. for production (change-overs and set-ups) and communicating with shift Lead Operator to ensure consistency of accurate and efficient production run.
• Prepare and change over lines, i.e., assemble tooling, fixturing, materials, etc., required for next work orders.
• Keep accurate records for all designated data entry requirements.
• Perform required quality checks, recording information and maintaining overall quality of product.
• Maintain clean, safe work area, by being efficient, neat and organized.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor and/or production specialist.
• Communicate and work effectively and positively with all co-workers.
• Prefer 3 years relevant manufacturing experience in extrusion, but will train individuals with Strong Mechanical Aptitude and background.
