Job Summary:
As a Regional Sales Manager at SemaSys, you will play a pivotal role in driving territory sales of our core product lines within the retail environment. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for cultivating strong customer relationships, promoting our expansive service and product capabilities, and optimizing strategies for both short- and long-term success. Continuous prospecting and business development will be vital to ensuring a healthy mix of new and existing business.
Core Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Proactively drive new business and strategic opportunities by effectively representing the SemaSys brand at the highest levels within customer organizations.
- Manage key accounts, nurture customer relationships, and establish rapport to foster long-term partnerships.
- Develop and achieve comprehensive sales forecasts and targets, with a focus on future growth initiatives.
- Maintain a strategic call plan to allocate a minimum of 30% of time for in-field activities.
- Utilize the company CRM system to accurately record account information, contacts, projects, notes, and reports.
- Ensure timely follow-up on marketing efforts, tracking all results within the CRM platform.
- Provide thorough project management and direction, from initial fact-finding and project initiation to delivering robust team service responses.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred, or a minimum of four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous outside sales experience is required.
- Must have experience in the retail or retail design industry.
- Proven track record in relationship development and successful business development.
- Experience working with larger retailers is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of metal or plastic manufacturing and print processes for the retail point of purchase and décor environment is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Must be willing and able to travel to see customers regularly.
